Welcome to the site that highlights our 2015 trip to Silicon Valley! We are students from DePaul University that met with big companies and startups to gain insight on current startup trends and innovation. Each day we met with different companies that offered us wonderful visits!
In the early 1950’s, a few innovators were able to start changing the world from the valleys south of San Francisco. This was made possible thanks to an element with semi-coductable properties called silicon. From this point forward the area has been referred to as Silicon Valley. It’s home to the United States’ largest, as well as most innovative, technology clusters. Silicon Valley embodies the experience and culture of companies that have developed revolutionary technology. The culture has been fostered by the unique environment present within that cluster. The environment encourages risk-taking that is not present elsewhere within the industry. Throughout this site we will portray the innovative practices of the companies we visited.
